In-room dining

Room Service Guests Can Rate Before They Hang Up the Phone.

An in-room dining outlet uses rooms instead of tables. Guests open a branded menu from the QR, then share private feedback — your F&B team is alerted in the app.

Hosted room-service menu on the guest phone — same GuestVoice journey as the restaurant floor.

From the room QR to the F&B team

  1. 1

    Room QR

Each room keeps a stable QR under the in-room dining outlet.

  2. 2

    Hosted or linked menu

Publish Room Service (or any name you use) with schedules and languages.

  3. 3

    Private feedback

Guests rate 1–5 and write privately with room context attached.

  4. 4

    Team alert

Hotel Admins, F&B Managers, and the assigned Outlet Manager see the bell item.

Built for in-room dining operations

Rooms, not tables

Location chrome says Rooms — the same table entity underneath, so QR tokens never change.

Menus enabled

Full hosted menu platform: categories, prices, allergens, schedules, six languages.

Stickers for rooms

Design and print room stickers with the same designer used on the dining floor.

Same recovery path

Low ratings stay private; high ratings can continue to Google or Tripadvisor when URLs are set.

Alerts named to the room

Staff bell shows outlet and room so the team knows where to recover.

In-room dining questions

Is in-room dining a separate product?

No. It is an outlet type under the hotel tenant, licensed as a service line by Platform Admin.

Do we reprint QRs when we rename a room?

No. The public QR token stays stable if you rename the room label.

Who is notified for room feedback?

Hotel Admins, F&B Managers for that hotel, and the Outlet Manager assigned to the in-room dining outlet.

Can front office use the same setup?

Front office is a different outlet type: counters and feedback without menus. See the Hotels page.
